To Celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Montreal History Center

Saturday, November 16, 2019
From 10 pm to 2 am

Inaugurated on November 18, 1983, the Montreal History Center is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
A night at the museum! A gift that the History Center offers Montrealers and tourists to celebrate its 35th birthday with them.

The Royal Pickles, which are omnipresent in social dance evenings and the most famous competitions, stand out for their loyalty to the hot jazz of the first half of the 20th century and the quality of their original arrangements.
In an urban immersive soundtrack, the group combines songs with lyrics to instrumental pieces, bringing a festive approach to comment and counteract the gloom of metropolises.

The burlesque artist SCARLETT JAMES

Founder of the Montreal Burlesque Festival, Scarlett James is an ambassador for the sophistication of burlesque around the world, burlesque artist, model and designer.

Twice in the night at the museum, Ms. James will reproduce the number of the bath artist Lili St-Cyr who made the beautiful hours of burlesque Montreal. She will also be accompanied by her hostesses and dancers of the Plumeria troupe who will perform on stage several times throughout the evening.
